FESTIVAL OF LIFE IS COMING TO CAMDEN, NJ
For Immediate Release
August 4, 2017
Festival of Life is an outdoor family festival that invests into the people of a community. It’s a boost of moral, and an opportunity to get some tools to make life a little easier!
Festival of Life is no stranger to the tri-state region. The very first Festival was held in Nicetown back in the summer of 2015. We returned to Kensington in the summer of 2016. FOL has just completed a successful week in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is now headed for Camden, NJ.
WHY CAMDEN: According to the United States Census Bureau, Camden’s annual median household income is $25,042. Only 67% of people over the age of 25 have a High School Diploma. Only 8% have a college degree. While authorities claim that overall crime is down from previous years, and waterfront businesses are beginning to thrive….there is a community behind the waterfront that continues to live in poverty.

Hundreds of families who've gone hungry, got a helping hand in Kensington, during a grocery give-away.
This event was one of several put on by generous volunteers, during what's called the "Festival of Life".
They teamed up with the group "Feed The Hungry" over the weekend, to pack up thousands of boxes of free groceries, in Fairless Hills, Bucks County.
Tuesday night brought their offerings to Kensington, with the intent of spreading hope and happiness.
